Dan tells us all about the annual Blessing of the Animals, which included pets, our favorite ducks, and even a pet rock! But the day ended on a sour note for Dan’s daughter when she overheard some kids making fun of the boy with the rock.

As Dan reflects on the week helping out with the squash harvest, he sees the different strengths people gave out of love. We reflect on the unique strengths we have to give.

The return of the rain gives Dan space to reflect on the week and what it means to love God with all our strength. We learn that strength isn’t found solely in muscles but it encompasses all we have to give.

It’s crunch time for the squash harvest, and unexpected help arrives in the form of neighbors showing up throughout the day. Dan struggles when he hits a wall and has to shift to an easier job.

Dan shares everything he learned helping out on day one of the squash harvest. He reflects on the value of team work and helping each other out.

It’s time to harvest the winter squash up at the farm, but a rainy weekend means it’s going to be more work than normal. Dan volunteers to help, but he worries whether or not he’s strong enough to make it through the whole day.

We wrap up our week on loving God with all our mind. Ella discovers a poem tucked in her studio door, written by Ms. Carolyn and inspired by the events of the week.

Dan realizes the question he posted to the “Wonder Wall” doesn’t really have an answer. When we have tough questions like this, we can always bring them to God.

Thanks to a tip from Ms. Carolyn, Ella goes into full detective mode to figure out what’s wrong with the rubber plant that’s losing leaves. We see that putting in effort to learn more about the things we wonder is a way of loving God with our minds.
